History

Vada Lanae Rocamora was born to Claudio and Bianca Rocamora on the night of September 14, 1986 in Charlotte, NC. Neither her time in North Carolina or her time with both her parents lasted long. She couldn't even remember a time when her parents were together. It was just a case of things not working out. Though there was heartache in the split, the two went their separate ways on good terms. Claudio stayed in Charlotte and Bianca moved back home to Myrtle Beach, SC. This is where Vada spent most of her life, save for the summers with her dad.

Growing up, Vada was always a good kid. As a baby, she hardly ever cried and gave her mom no trouble at all. Through out school, she had a good amount of friends. She tried to be nice to everyone, until they crossed her. Thankfully, that didn't happen often. Her school years consisted of good grades and good friends. She wasn't what she would considered popular, though she did have a lot of people who liked to talk to her, she had a small tight nit group of friends she's known since she was young. Most of which she still talk with to this day.

Though her grades were good and her mom often encouraged her that she could go to college for anything that she wanted, she really only ever wanted to do one thing.She wanted to run her mom's ice cream shop. It was always her favorite place to hang out with her friends. It didn't help that her mom liked to hold little ice cream parties when she had her friends with her. From a very early age, she talked her mom into letting her help her out. She would help out everyday after school, and she had a blast. She knew that she would take over one day.

As much as she wanted to, the only time she didn't spend in the shop was during the summer. During the months she had no school, she was always send to her dad's place just outside of Charlotte. Apparently, they thought it would do her good to get to know her other siblings. Though she wasn't as close to them as she was to the ones she lived with at her mom's. She loved them just the same. Her summers were spent riding horses, taking dance classes, and going to the drive ins. There wasn't a whole lot to do there while she was young. Though thanks to her siblings friends, she actually found a few friends of her own that she would hang out with while she was there.

When it came time for college, she did the only thing she'd ever wanted. She went for business. She took what she needed to help her be able to run the ice cream shop more efficiently. Yeah, her mom never had issues and her way was always great, but times change and so do regulations. Her plan was to only change what she needed to update. Because really, why fix what's not broken? An Ice cream shop right on the beach, is one business that would have to be completely horrible in order to fail. Thankfully, Beaches and Cream has been there for nearly 20 years.

She had never really been one for romance. Even though things didn't work out with her parents, she still saw them find happiness with new people. But she never found it easy to fall in love. She had a few relationships through out high school, but nothing serious at all. During her time in college, this all changed. She happen to meet one of the most amazing men she would ever meet. His name was Stephen Dunphy and he had her attention as soon as she saw him. It seemed to take forever for them to finally get up the courage to talk to each other, but once they did, they were inseparable. They dated for the last three years of college, before he had to leave for Georgetown Law. The break up was very hard on her but she knew it was the best thing for him, and she only wanted that for him.

After graduating college, Vada got her own place not far from the ice cream shop. Though she still visits her dad in the summer, for the last few years it's only been for a week or two, instead of the months she spent before. She's poured her time and energy into the shop, though her mom is still helping out, Vada is the one in charge. She recently updated the beach theme, the place is busy as ever and Vada couldn't be happier.

Though she loves to change her hair color, it usually stays some shade of red. She's spent a little time as a blonde, but always ends up her natural red. When it comes to her style, she's very much a what-ever-I'm-in-the-mood-for girl. She loves to wear whatever is comfortable, whether it's a t-shirt and jeans, or nice dress. She can be just as relaxed in a pair of sweats, or sun dress as she can all dolled up in an evening gown. It all really depends on her mood.

Personality

Vada is a very out going and fun loving person. She has a very good sense of humor, albeit a little sarcastic and a little dark. She is a very loyal person. When it comes to her friends she would bend over backwards to help them out if it's with in her power, even to literally give them the shirt off her back. She tends to be the one her friends go to when they need someone to just listen. She always has an ear to lend or a shoulder to cry on.
That's not to say that she wouldn't be that kind to someone who isn't her friends. She's very much the humanitarian. When it comes to someone in needs, she can be such a pushover. Vada's much like her mom in that aspect. She can't stand to see someone in need, or in pain. The same feeling applies to animals. She's a sucker for animals in need and if she could, she would probably have a farm for them.
One of her major drawbacks though, is she does tend to have a very hot temper. Though it take a lot to set her off, when she loses it, she's a mighty bitch. She won't let someone get away with doing her or her loved ones wrong. Even when she's angry, she tries not to be vindictive. She won't seek revenge, but she will stand up for herself or her loved ones if need be.
